Why We No Longer Keep the TP on the Dispenser

Abby LOVES to go in the basement bathroom. I think part of the fascination is that we keep the door closed unless we have to go in there. It's a whole other room for her to play in! At first, she loved the echo in there, so she'd sit, happily shrieking away, while I did what I had to do. She soon found that my legs were just sitting there, begging for her to pull herself up. From that vantage point, she spotted the toilet paper dispenser and it was all over from there. I'm just happy she hasn't found the trash can yet.

Also known as: What Happens Every Time Abby Spots the Camera. It turns out that's the best way to get her out of the bathroom.

Wait until she figures out that there is water in the toilet after she figures out that the lid opens! Those are some good times, cleaning up potty-water hands. Even if it is clean water, YUCK!

I have to shut the lid quickly once I get up, otherwise she tries to go straight for the water. Thankfully, she hasn't figured out how to open it yet!

I TOTALLY hear you on that one. My youngest is 17 months and we are in that same boat! By the way...my name is Becca :) I have been reading your blog for a few weeks now and thought I would introduce myself. You have a very pretty little baby :)

Hi Becca. Thank you. I'm always amazed to hear that there are people outside of our families who read this blog. I'm glad you enjoy it.

LOL :) Well, it is a more recent thing that I have started reading a few other peoples blogs. I only started blogging myself about 2 or 3 months ago. I have a few friends who blog, so if they have links on their blogs to other peoples blogs they read, I figure, hey if they like them why not give it a try, I might like them too :) I am a stay at home Mom and I have found it a joy to find other mom's who share in the same types of things that are going on in my life. Even if we don't know eachother, it's still fun to "Kind of" know one another, just through reading storeis of their life.
