We ended up back at Urgent Care this afternoon. Abby's been doing much better the last couple days, but her face and chest were covered in a rash when she woke up from her morning nap today. I called first this time, and they told me to bring her in. The pediatrician on call said she has roseola, which is what triggered the high fever. There's nothing to do but wait it out. It doesn't seem to bother her even though it's now spread all over.

I almost commented on your last post to watch for a rash on her tummy, neck, etc., b/c that might have been the cause of her high fever and her acting funny, but I never did b/c I figured it was probably something totally unrelated. Connor has had it twice and every time he gets a fever I am always suspicious of roseola. They told me to give him a mixture of 1/2 teaspoon of dye free Benedryl and 1/2 teaspoon of Mylanta and swab it in his mouth b/c he actually developed the rash on the back of his throat as well. So if she isn't eating alot, that might be why. Luckily it's not an itchy rash, that would be even worse. Hope she gets better soon!
